I’m Ming Yang, a statistician and data scientist passionate about statistical computing and software development in healthcare. I enjoy building data products and analysis platforms that help advance research in biomedical data science. Currently, I’m working on dynamic visualization and predictive analytics, using data from clinical trials and electronic health records to find meaningful insights that can improve healthcare.

I completed my Ph.D. in Biostatistics at The University of Iowa (2007-2012) after earning my B.S. in Statistics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (2003-2007). I’ve been fortunate to work at Harvard University as a Research Fellow (2014-2016) in the Department of Biostatistics and as a Research Associate (2012-2014) at the Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research, where I contributed my statistical and computational skills to important studies in public health and clinical research.
